I love Barry White's lyrics but what tugs me, his songs and larger than life personality notwithstanding, are his last words before he passed on. 'Leave me alone. I will be all right.'
We share similar interests in music. I sweat when I hear Al B Sure, El DeBarge, James Ingram. They don't make them like that any more! I too I'm looking forward to, as you say, a weekend filled with love.
Hey you, leave a comment but don't just be an asshole about it - try to be decent. That said you are welcome to heap abuse or ridicule if it makes you feel better. However in order to get published it must not be homophobic, racist or sexist. OK?
Vey nice for a Friday morning. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Wilde (do you mind the shortened version?),
ReplyDeleteWe love listening to Barry late at night, lights out just lying in bed. Calms the soul, I find. Nice day. x

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to a love-filled weekend.
Truly, we will be all right.
Not at all. Variants are W ( no relation to that funny american dude), Wilde, WildeY etc... you can call me anything you want.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like I'm flirting but I assure you I'm not ;)
WildeY (I like this one),
ReplyDeleteI love to flirt all the time!

Josh Groban, Frank Sinatra are my favorites. Its relaxing when I hear them.
ReplyDeleteYou sure are happy given your little rendezvous with George. I like the lights-out-music-all-round setting. Sounds romantic.
I'll be sure to duplicate it.
Hi Pater Nostra,
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful world even with bad things that happen. I find music to be a wonderful panacea. x
