A blog with a soul

If you thought my life was interesting then there is a Kenyan blog that you should not miss. It's called In My Own Words.
It is an amazing, humbling and inspirational story. And it’s beautifully told by Pater Nostra. I think of it as a blog with a soul. You might even shed some tears as I did.

  1. Tamaku,

I am greatly humbled by this. I am at a loss as to what to say.

It was my intention to make it my 'own' and honest as prudence will allow.

Thank you for introducing me to your many and varied contributors and commentators.

Looking forward to being part, together with you and many others, of Gay Emancipation. Let's prepare for others (-:

All the best in every way.

  2. Hi Pater Nostra,

It's too good not to share. Thanks for your kind words. x

  3. Gay Emancipation

Honestly, I never thought of that word...I never thought I needed freedom, what I´ve always needed is protection under the law and protection from puritan/other zealots who instigate crimes of hate at Church (and are scared to death).

I love the new blog ¨in my own words. Thank you for sharing your new friend and his ¨own words¨ with the World...everyone of our words must be heard...can you imagine what we will hear?

  4. Hi Leonardo,

We are all born free but somewhere along the line some want to place shackles. I value communication because it may help overcome some of these barriers. Have a lovely weekend. x

  5. pater is the sweetest! i love his blog

  6. Hi mwendwa,

That I can't dispute. So moving too. x

Hey you, leave a comment but don't just be an asshole about it - try to be decent. That said you are welcome to heap abuse or ridicule if it makes you feel better. However in order to get published it must not be homophobic, racist or sexist. OK?
