Where am I?

I'm all alone at Heathrow waiting to board BA 65 for Nairobi after 3 days in London. Weather's been miserable as usual, lots of rain showers. I can't wait to get back home even though I'll miss today's celebrations to mark our new Constitution. But I'll be with you all in spirit, in fact I'm just popping over to the Crown Rivers Bar in the departure lounge for a quick double. I know it's naughty at this hour but just this once, ok. Cheers my dears!

Seems you are a regular jet setter, this is the third time I've read of you making a quick trip to London. Do you have a house there, stay in a hotel or with friends?

It's funny how London has that draw, amongst the jet set in Nigeria, London is also the preferred destination, though some now venture to Accra, Johannesburg and Nairobi.

    Stay well.

  2. Hi CodLiverOil,

Seems like I do get around but mostly it's just work that takes me to UK. I fell in love with London many years ago when I studied there. The variety and sophistication is difficult to find in other cities too. xxx

Hey you, leave a comment but don't just be an asshole about it - try to be decent. That said you are welcome to heap abuse or ridicule if it makes you feel better. However in order to get published it must not be homophobic, racist or sexist. OK?
